PEDIATRICS RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Curriculum
Over the 39 (4-week) rotations of training the resident will satisfactorily complete:
- Six and one-half (4-week) rotations in Ambulatory Care (General Pediatrics/Acute Care and Subspecialty Clinics).
- Nine (4-week) rotations in General Pediatric Inpatient Medicine divided between the Santa Rosa Children's Hospital and University Hospital.
- Four (4-week) rotations in Neonatal Intensive Care Medicine.
- Two (4-week) rotations in Term Newborn Nursery.
- Two (4 week) rotations in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
- Two (4-week) rotations in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Two and one-half (4-week) rotations in Hematology/Oncology.
- One (4-week) rotation in Behavior and Development.
- One (4-week) rotation in Adolescent Medicine
- Four (4-week) rotations, one in each of the following subspecialty areas: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Nephrology and Pulmonology.
- Five (4-week) clinical or research elective rotations.
- The Continuity Clinic Curriculum
