PEDIATRICS RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Didactics

Regularly scheduled didactic conferences which emphasize active learning are central to the residency experience. The table below lists the formal didactic offerings of the program. It does not reflect the daily teaching rounds on the inpatient services, intensive care units, newborn nursery, hematology/oncology service, or the required subspecialties nor does not it list conferences associated with the required block rotations in hematology/oncology, cardiology, endocrinology, adolescent medicine, and nephrology. There are weekly or biweekly conferences on subspecialty block rotations and on the adolescent medicine service attended only by the resident(s) assigned to those services.
