CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children's Hospital, the first in San Antonio dedicated solely to the treatment of children, is the primary teaching hospital of the Department of Pediatrics and offers several programs that are unique to South Texas.

The Janey Briscoe Children's Center at University Hospital is a state-of-the art facility designed to provide comprehensive pediatric medical services with a focus on cardiovascular surgery, trauma, and solid organ transplants such as kidney, liver or heart.
